Smart Card

Looking for a modern method of loading and saving with the Speccy, I have tried a number of different cards, which I will review in due course. The jewel in the crown though is the Smart Card made by the owner of www.Retroleum.co.uk . I think I paid around 20.00 for mine a number of years ago. At th...

Spectrum expansion

Looking for an expansion card for the ZX81 I found some gerber design files created by Steve Smith on www.ProjectSpeccy.com . Almost what I wanted so I checked out the cost of getting the PCBs made, ( ), and it came to next to nothing. 10xmain boards and 20xedge adapters cost 20.00. 2-4 day delivery...

Fibonacci series

The wordS below will produce the Fibonacci sequence of numbers. This starts at 0 1 and the next number is the sum of the previous two. ZX 81 assembler using TASM in MS Windows

The main advantage is that all coding is done outside the Zeddy environment, meaning no delays loading an assembler, saving the code and repeating every time something goes wrong or the RAM pack wobbles. A link to TASM and some extr...

Re: H4th - Print AT

Here's a first attempt at printing a string at any desired position on screen. It can almost certainly be improved. It is called by " YOUR STRING/MESSAGE HERE" X Y !SAT where X=0-31, Y=0- 23 VARIABLE SRC VARIABLE DST : !SAT 32 * + FBUF + DST ! 64644 @ SRC @ 0 DO SRC @ I + C@ 32 - DST @ I + C! LOOP ;...

H4th - Stack

Here are some stack commands for H4th. They can be very useful as they give stack information without actually changing anything on the stack. The first, DEPTH , just puts the count of items onto the stack. The second, STACK , print out the stack items. The third word, 0STACK , will clear all items ...
